Hows that civilization thing going?

It was just another day for brad in his shop, he tinkered away at someone's car fixing the engine. He still had his suit on, he never took the thing off. He didn't stop working or look over as he just said "Hey somebody grab me a drink over here." Talking to no one specific.

James wasn't having such a nice day, having dealt with some shady people the night before down at the River's End. He looked up from his magazine as he manned the cash register and yelled to Bradley, "Get it yourself, tin man!".

"What are you doing that is so important?" Brad said as he threw a wrench at him, though not trying to hurt anyone. "its not like we are bursting at the seams with business here, come on."

"Exactly why I am immersing myself in the culture of Brisbane," said James as he turned his magazine on its side to see the centerfold. A small other page fell out of the magazine revealing the entire picture, much to James' excitement.

"Your just looking at some smut and calling it culture... unless thats what 'normal' people do. In that case I'm proud of being me." Bradley said laughing as he turned to see just how much closer James was to the drinks than him. "You know, if you actually did something you would notice that they're right next to you."

James grabbed a beer, not looking at it and tossed it in Bradley's general direction so that he would shut up about the drinks and let him enjoy his cultural magazine in peace.

"Took you long enough. Anyway, whats the 'captain' up to now, need us to go and plow some things again?" Bradley said putting emphasis on captain to make it sound like he wasn't any form of supior, which he really wasn't in Brad's eyes more of a employer than anything. After he spoke Bradley leaned agaist the car he had been working on, and began enjoying the drink we had to pester his friend for with a smile.

"Nothing yet, it's been pretty quiet surprisingly, but last I checked we weren't the only team in existence, just it and wait and eventually we'll get another call," said James as he sighed, his trigger finger was itching as always.

"You know, how are we supposed to win this? Like as a whole and take power, how are WE supposed to get anything but a pat on the back and maybe some money for once?" Bradley said in between drinks trying to finish the bottle quickly while still talking.

"It's easy we take out key people of the government in this city along with the military force, eventually when there is no one left we take the city as our own, it's not that overall complicated," said James trying to simplify what was obviously an incredibly complex thing.

" no, not that how are WE gonna get anything! Mr captain is probaley take the credit and we will be back where we are now." Bradley said pointing to himself and james trying to get his point across

"Nah, my thought is that we'll be given something, there's only a few of us, but we're all pretty well off when this thing finishes. Who knows they might just give us money and we could be heroes here!" said James as he ranted about his fantasy excitedly.

"We both know most people are looking out for themselves... so why don't we do the same? Then we would have it made, for life." Bradley stated exictedly throwing the now empty bottle over to the side

"So what would you say we do then?" asked James keen on hearing a new idea from his friend.

" I really don't have much of a clue. We could do alot of things, we could incite another country to do something or just take control of the rebellion, you said there aren't many of us maybe we can use it to our advantage... because I am sick and tired of scaving and not having food some days. And one thing about power is that it doesnt just fall into someones lap it hast to be taken." Bradley said showing his disdain for his current situation.

James thought about it for a moment, he did quite like violence and food and Brad had just promised him both. "Okay then what about we take charge of the rebellion, I mean its just what one ex-Ranger, right? We could kill him," said James as he put his magazine down and dreamed of an interesting future.

"So where does captain pants even stay? We have to figure this out, and we gotta find out if the rest of the guys and gals will follow us. Or else we are just two crazy guys." Brad was begining to think his dream of actual comfort could be a reality, and controlling a country couldnt go wrong could it?

"Well most of the other rebels are ideologically for the revolution, not its leader, who knows maybe we could do this," said James as he thought about his cute and dandy violent thoughts.

"So here is what we are going to do... we are going to find out where captain pants lives, then a plan to kill him will be made, and he will die, we take power, and live like kings... which we will probably be by then." Bradley said talking as if he had a group of professional tacticians waiting eagerly for his commands, even though he was just day dreaming, and talking to his only friend.
